Fair Trade Month Events continue for CRS and Partners

Ever had that feeling when you were really tired and really excited at the same time? Your bones kinda ache but your spirit soars? That pretty much sums up how we are feeling at CRS Fair Trade these days. The Fair Trade month celebrations and activities that are happening, from a CRS Fair Trade Ambassador training in Arizona and Mexico this past weekend, to farmer tours and festivals are really inspiring, if a tad bit exhausting. But no complaints here! We are thrilled that so many consumers are engaging with the disadvantaged producers we serve!

Our friends at Divine chocolate, for example, are hosting a tour of two Kuapa Kokoo farmers: Cecilia Appianim and Cecilia Donkor. Read the blog of travels with “the two Cecilias” for impressions of that experience. If these good folks come to your community, be sure to attend an event and let us know how the visit went! By the way, if your community is hosting a Fair Trade event make sure it is on our list of possibilities to connect with Fair Trade.

And, don’t forget to rest a bit, in the midst of it all!
