Tick, tock, tick, tock; time to fill your Fair Trade stockings!

Okay, that rhyme is pretty lame, but it is hard to find catchy titles for each and every blog posting! What I’m trying to do is remind you to place your gift orders with Work of Human Hands and our coffee partners soon because Christmas is almost here. Katy and I are spending today and tomorrow hosting our own Fair Trade sale here at CRS World Headquarters, and it is a bummer to see the disappointed faces of shoppers who realize that they arrived too late to get the gifts they wanted. Of course, there are lots of beautiful handcrafted and hand-harvested items to choose from, but why take a chance and order late?

To receive your order by Christmas Eve (December 24) with regular ground shipping, please find your state below and order by noon EST on the designated date.

And speaking of deadlines, for the chefs among us, don’t forget to enter the Divine chocolate recipe contest by December 15. The grand prize is a trip to the Washington area. CRS is not far away in Baltimore and if a member of our Fair Trade network wins we’d love to come down to DC and meet you at the award events!

   Hi All!

   I just wanted to say that the holiday sale advertisement was a bit personal for me. I did manage to avoid most of the topics on that list (except the weather because we had some really cold days in Chicago). AND, everyone was asking about Fair Trade before I could even bring it up. It’s great to see my family so curious and ready to spread the word. It did help to pass out some Fair Trade coffee and chocolate to everyone though. My grandparents got a kick out of the Frank Sumatra and Bean Martin blends from Larry’s Beans.

   Hope everyone had great holidays!
